What is Radiesse Liquid Facelift?

If you’re looking to turn back time and create a rejuvenating lifting effect without surgery, then Radiesse can deliver the results you desire. One of our most popular treatments, Radiesse is an effective liquid facelift that fills in lines and wrinkles, and adds volume to facial area in which collagen production may have slowed due to the natural ageing process.

Common problem areas that Radiesse can soften the appearance of include:

  • nasolabial folds / smile lines (the grooves between the nose and mouth)
  • marionette lines
  • radial lip lines (above the upper lip)
  • shallow cheeks (caused by fat atrophy)
  • nose and chin issues (such as unevenness and bumps)
  • jaw contours (jowls)
  • depressions or blemishes (such as acne scars).

The Radiesse Liquid Facelift is also a viable solution for reducing the appearance of veins and bones in aged hands. You can see some before and after photo examples at the bottom of this page.

How does it work?

Radiesse is expertly administered to your problem areas through quick, painless injections, instantly restoring volume in a three-dimensional fashion. It treats facial lines and wrinkles, and lifts the face, returning to it a youthful V-shape appearance.

However, the Radiesse Liquid Facelift is much more that just a temporary fix for wrinkles – it actively rebuilds your skin’s foundation. The product acts as a scaffold under the skin, so to speak, providing structure but also stimulating your own natural collagen production, which gives your skin a radiant look. This production of natural collagen continues for several months, which extends beyond the initial effect of the treatment.

How long does the treatment take to work?

Results with this the Radiesse Liquid Facelift are instantly visible, which is one of its great advantages. Perfect for right ahead of the big occasion, such as a wedding or holiday.

What is the downtime?

There is virtually no downtime. You may experience some bruising or swelling at the injection site, which will soon subside. For most areas, our doctor will use a blunt flexible cannula in order to minimise the risk of bruising.

Does it hurt?

The product is mixed with an anaesthetic so procedures are pain-free. The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes in total.

How many treatments are needed?

The number of treatments varies among patients. In some cases, just one session is recommended in the first instance, while other patients may require two to three sessions for optimum results. As with all our treatments, our doctor will discuss your needs and monitor your progress for the best possible outcome.

We also offer interest free finance on treatments above £280 and on selected packages.

As with all fillers, there may be some swelling, localised redness at the injection site, itching and tenderness immediately after treatment. These reactions are normal and transient. They are a result of the injection itself and generally resolve by themselves. Any swelling that may occur can remain up to few days but will resolve without any interaction.

Bruising may be reduced with the application of ice-packs immediately following treatment.

  • Avoid applying make-up to the treated area for the first 24 hours after the treatment.
  • Avoid vigorous exercise, prolonged exposure to UV rays, temperatures below 0°C 3 days after the treatment.

It is important to wait until any of the above injection related symptoms have resolved before you see your final results.

Taking care of yourself after the procedure is crucial. By following the above you will enjoy your results for longer.
