What is the Ellansé Liquid Facelift?

Restore and rejuvenate your face with the Ellansé liquid facelift – one of our most popular anti-ageing treatments for both men and women. Ellansé helps you to lift sagging skin, fill out lines, and re-establish your facial contours for a revitalised appearance. It also kickstarts the production of new collagen, giving you an outcome that improves after treatment. There is NO surgery and results are 100% natural and long-lasting.

The Ellansé Liquid Facelift can be used to plump and lift any number of problem areas in the face, as well as the hands. Common benefits include:

How does Ellansé work?

Collagen is one of the important support structures found naturally in your skin. It helps to keep skin tight, elastic and supple. Over the course of time, your skin gradually produces less collagen. This leads to facial laxity and the formation of wrinkles and folds. Ellansé uses the body’s natural response to stimulate the generation of the body’s own collagen (neocollagenesis), restoring a fresh, youthful look. Ellansé works by not only correcting the wrinkles and folds in your skin, but also by stimulating your body’s own collagen for a long-lasting result – for up to two years.

How long does the Ellansé Liquid Facelift take to work?

A dramatic improvement is instantly visible after the Ellansé liquid facelift. However, Ellansé also helps stimulate your body’s own natural production of collage. You will continue to notice visible improvements in the ensuing weeks and months. You should see peak results at around three months after treatment. Ellansé can continue to work for up to two years.

What is the downtime for Ellansé?

Downtime from the Ellansé liquid facelift is minimal. You may experience very minor bruising or swelling at the points of injection, but otherwise you can return to normal activities right away. Your doctor may advise you massage your skin in the ensuing few days in order to ensure that the Ellansé product is distributed evenly. This also helps to encourage collagen production.

Does the Ellansé Liquid Facelift hurt?

With the Ellansé liquid facelift, there are a few quick and easy injections administered into the problem area and that’s it. All our fillers include local anaesthetic so injections are virtually pain-free.

How many Ellansé treatments are needed?

Depending on the scope of the problem, sometimes repeat treatments several weeks apart are required after the initial procedure. Your doctor will discuss your options and needs during your no-obligation consultation. Your progress will be monitored in order that you can optimise results.

How long do Ellansé results last?

As with all fillers, there may be some swelling, localized redness at the injection site, itching and tenderness immediately after treatment. These reactions are normal and transient. They are a result of the injection itself and generally resolve by themselves. Any swelling that may occur can remain for up to a few days but will resolve without any interaction.

Bruising may be reduced with the application of ice-packs immediately following treatment.

Avoid applying make-up to the treated area for the first 24 hours after the treatment.
Avoid vigorous exercise, prolonged exposure to UV rays, temperatures below 0°C 3 days after the treatment.

It is important to wait until any of the above injection related symptoms have resolved before you see your final results.

Which areas of the face can Ellansé treat?

I was in my mid to late 30s when I first started noticing that the lower part of my cheeks were already sagging and losing their shape. A visit to Vie Aesthetics revealed this to be caused by a loss of volume and collagen production in the upper part of my cheek. I tried a couple of other dermal fillers initially, which were okay. But then the doctor introduced me to Ellansé and I’ve honestly never looked back. The product has improved my skin, gently restored volume and smoothed out the grooves between my nose and mouth, another area that I’ve had a very long-term problem with. The results are quite subtle, but very definite and natural, and they last for a really long too. And the sessions are very quick and easy, and well priced. Now that I’ve just turned 40 I genuinely don’t think I’ve aged much since a few years ago. It’s good stuff.

I started having treatments with Dr Liakas approximately 2 years ago now. I’d had Botox and fillers with other consultants but when I met Dr Liakas there has been no turning back.
