Vie Aesthetics is a private doctor-led CQC regulated medical, aesthetics, regenerative and wellness clinic group  in Rayleigh, Essex, and Holborn, London. Alongside professional skin and beauty services from our sister company, VieDerma, our medical team is here to help you feel informed, properly cared for and confident in the decisions you make. It is about how you feel when you walk through our doors. It is about being listened to properly, receiving honest advice and knowing that the person caring for you sees more than a skin concern, a symptom or an area you would like to change.

Vicky Grammatikopoulou founded Vie Aesthetics in Essex in 2013. From the beginning, Vicky wanted to create something warmer and more personal than a traditional clinic, while maintaining the professional standards people should expect from a medical service.

Our story is very closely connected with Vicky’s background in education and teacher training, which shaped that vision. She believes people make better decisions when they feel informed, understood and comfortable enough to ask questions. That belief still influences everything from the way we communicate to how our clinics feel and how we support you before, during and after treatment. Today, Vicky leads Vie’s business strategy, brand, patient experience, communications and continued development. She is closely involved in the details that shape your experience because, to her, those details matter.

Vie is also the story of a husband-and-wife partnership. Vicky’s husband, Dr Ioannis Liakas, is Vie’s Medical Director. He brings more than 30 years of medical experience, including over 20 years in the NHS and his former role as a consultant physician at Southend Hospital.

Their responsibilities are distinct but complementary. Vicky considers how every decision will affect the people who place their trust in Vie. Dr Liakas examines the medical evidence, clinical suitability and standards required to deliver care responsibly.

One leads the vision, experience and growth of Vie. The other leads its clinical governance, scientific direction, treatment protocols and medical standards. They may approach a question from different perspectives, but they share the same objective: to do what is right for the person in front of them.

That balance between human understanding and medical judgement has shaped Vie from the beginning.

Over the years, Vie Aesthetics has received more than 30 nominations and awards for its clinical services, patient experience, innovation and business achievements.

One moment remains particularly special to us. At the prestigious MyFaceMyBody Global Aesthetic Awards 2020, Vie was named joint winner of UK Aesthetic Practice of the Year before receiving the event’s highest overall honour: Global Aesthetic Practice of the Year. This recognition placed Vie ahead of the winning practices from the USA, Australasia and the rest of the world. We were incredibly proud, but we also knew that the awards did not belong to one person. They recognised the care and commitment of our entire team: our doctors, nurses, skin therapists, patient coordinators, receptionists, managers and everyone working behind the scenes.

They also reflected the trust of the patients and clients who supported and voted for us.

Awards do not define the quality of someone’s individual care. However, this recognition reassured us that our belief in combining medical standards with warmth, education and personal service resonated well beyond our own clinics.

Our multi-award winning clinics are is led by Medical Director Dr Ioannis Liakas. Dr Ioannis Liakas is one of the industry’s most skilled and respected aestheticians and trainers in the field. Prior to Vie Aesthetics, he worked in the NHS for more than 20 years and was a consultant at Southend Hospital.

Dr Liakas works alongside experienced doctors, nurses and therapists, supported by our patient coordinators, reception, management and operational teams. Every role matters. Your experience depends not only on what happens in the treatment room. It also depends on thoughtful preparation, respectful communication, accurate records and knowing who to contact if you need support afterwards.

More Than a Clinic

Our Story has been a success story as Vie has grown since 2013, but the reason it exists has not changed. We want you to feel that you can talk openly, ask questions and receive an honest answer. We want you to understand your options without feeling overwhelmed or pressured. Most importantly, we want you to feel that your care has been planned for you rather than around a treatment we want to sell. Medical expertise gives Vie its clinical foundation. Vicky and Ioannis give it its character. Our team brings it to life every day.

This is where science meets artistry, and where care remains personal.

Our clinics are also home to VieDerma, our sister company specialising in professional skin, laser, beauty and wellness services. These are distinct from the regulated medical and aesthetics activities delivered by VIE Aesthetics Ltd.  VieDerma operates from dedicated treatment rooms within our Rayleigh and Holborn clinics. Its trained skin therapists provide services that include laser treatments, HIFU and other device-led skin and body treatments, alongside advanced facials and beauty services. The VieDerma team provides professional skincare advice and supplies carefully selected skincare and beauty products. Services provided by VieDerma are distinct from the regulated medical and aesthetics activities delivered by VIE Aesthetics Ltd.

Medical aesthetics requires more than technical ability. Our clinicians combine medical knowledge, careful assessment and an understanding of proportion, movement and individuality. We aim for considered, balanced outcomes that feel naturally yours. We do not build treatment plans around what is fashionable. We build them around your anatomy, health, concerns and priorities.

We also invest in clinical education, technology and professional development. Innovation at Vie is not simply about offering something new. We ask whether it is appropriate, supported by credible evidence and capable of adding meaningful value to your care.

VIE Aesthetics Ltd is registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated activities carried out at its registered locations. CQC registration applies to specified regulated activities and does not cover every service we provide. You can view the current registration and assessment information for our Rayleigh and Holborn locations on the CQC website.Our Rayleigh clinic is rated Good by the CQC.

You do not need to arrive at Vie Aesthetics knowing which treatment you need. Your consultation gives you the space to explain what concerns you and what you hope to achieve. Our clinicians consider your medical history, current health, expectations and priorities before discussing whether treatment may be appropriate.

We explain:

• Important risks and expected benefits.
• Relevant alternatives.
• Likely recovery and aftercare.
• Treatment costs.
• What the treatment cannot realistically achieve.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and consider the information before deciding whether to proceed.

Consent is an ongoing conversation, not simply a signature on a form. Treatment recommendations come from appropriately qualified professionals working within their competence, with follow-up planned around the treatment and your individual needs.
