Welcome to the future of skin regeneration!

Polynucleotides are the cutting-edge injectable treatment that is revolutionising how we maintain healthy, youthful skin. This treatment works at a cellular level to repair and regenerate tissue, making it an excellent option for men and women in Essex and London looking to enhance their skin’s vibrancy, tone, and texture. From acne to rosacea and from age spots to sun damage, polynucleotides offer a highly effective way to rejuvenate your skin’s appearance. By activating fibroblasts, polynucleotides encourage cell turnover, leading to firmer, more hydrated skin and softening the signs of ageing, including crepey skin, fine lines, and wrinkles.

The evolution of polynucleotides in regenerative medicine

When it comes to skin health and anti-ageing, innovation is key. Dr Ioannis Liakas, Medical Director at Vie Aesthetics in Rayleigh and London, explains: “With its breakthrough formulation, polynucleotides (also known as ‘salmon sperm’) are poised to be the next big thing in skin regeneration. This treatment is incredibly effective in both preventing and treating signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines, dark circles under the eyes, uneven skin tone, and dullness. It is also an excellent tool for our doctors to reduce acne scarring and hyperpigmentation caused by sun exposure.”

TREATMENT AT A GLANCE

So, what are Polynucleotides?

Unlike dermal fillers and skin boosters that rely on traditional hyaluronic acid, polynucleotides are composed of the building blocks of protein, known as DNA fragments. These fragments activate cellular functions, promote hyaluronic acid synthesis, stimulate fibroblast growth, and boost collagen production. Moreover, polynucleotide injections act on two levels: prevention and repair. Scientifically proven to be highly effective at repairing damaged tissues, stimulating fibroblasts, and increasing moisture levels in the skin, polynucleotides offer a versatile solution for skin rejuvenation.

How do Polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides use DNA to alter the behaviour of skin cells and promote collagen production. The polynucleotide chain not only attracts water molecules but also exhibits anti-free radical properties, acting as a scavenger for hydroxyl radicals (OH) that accumulate due to stress, cell damage, and external factors like UV rays. This moisturising and anti-free radical activity creates an optimal environment for the growth of fibroblasts, helping to restore the skin’s elasticity. As a result, polynucleotides reduce wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, sagging, and other signs of ageing while promoting healthier-looking skin.

Why choose Polynucleotides?

Polynucleotides stand out as a medical-grade injectable skin-boosting solution that repairs and regenerates skin tissue. Unlike hyaluronic acid-based boosters, the polynucleotides in this treatment offer a wide range of applications. This means that we can achieve skin tightening and smoothing without the need for deep structural injections.

Who are Polynucleotides  for?

Polynucleotides are perfect for patients seeking a general improvement in skin quality or specific lesions they wish to address. This treatment is particularly beneficial for rejuvenating the face, including the under-eye area. In addition to treating the upper, mid, and lower face, polynucleotides can also be used on the neck, décolletage, inner arms, thighs, and knees. They effectively improve overall skin quality and help with age spots, UV spots, acne scarring, and sun damage.

How can you get this?

Polynucleotide treatments are performed exclusively by medical practitioners and are available at all our clinics. These procedures can also be combined with other treatments, such as Morpheus8, for optimal results. If you want to elevate your skincare routine, polynucleotides may be the perfect solution for you.

So, if you want to take your skincare routine up a notch then Plenhyage XL may be worth considering!

How many sessions will I need?

We generally recommend 2-3 treatments,  2-4 weeks apart, but our treatmetnes are tailored to meet individual needs. Therefore, how many sessions you require will depend on your own goals and needs, as well as the size of the area(s) being treated. For optimal results, your practitioner will advise you on the likely course of action during your initial, no-obligation consultation. Your progress will also be monitored during ongoing free reviews.

How long do the results of Polynucleotides last?

The results from Polynucleotides are long lasting, in general six to nine months, as long as the suggested after-care is properly followed. We would recommend regular treatments to keep your skin in great condition.

Does the polynucleotides treatment hurt?

The pins are minuscule and a local anaesthetic is applied to numb the treatment area. You may experience some discomfort during procedures, but this will be minimal and our doctor will try to make treatment as comfortable as possible.

Are polynucleotides treatments safe?

The polynucleotide procedure is very safe and minimally invasive treatment with excellent results, especially for those individuals who want to avoid structural fillers, but instead prefer general skin rejuvenation and healing.

What is the downtime of Polynucleotide treatments?

This treatment requires around 3-7 days of downtime, due to the potential redness,  mild needle pin like swelling and possibly mild bruising. This can be easily covered with make-up.

When should I expect to see results?

You can expect to see results after around three weeks after the treatment and your skin quality will improve gradually as the tissues regenerate. You’ll definitely notice the difference after 2-4 weeks, and results will develop for several months, as this is a regenerative treatment. Full results can be expected about 3 months after treatment.
