Our specialist dermal filler from GeneFill Contour contains hyaluronic acid, a substance that is also found naturally in the body, and which helps to keep skin hydrated and healthy by attracting water. Hyaluronic acid is widely used in anti-ageing procedures to fill out wrinkles and add plumpness to areas that have sagged due to a slowing in the production of collagen. It is because of its volumising capabilities that it can also be used to reshape facial or body contours.

The formula found within GeneFill Contour filler is specifically designed for the buttocks area. Similar to fillers for the face, GenFill Bum Lift filler can add volume to the bum when injected carefully and strategically into the subcutaneous or supraperiostal tissue, helping to elevate the body’s contours.

Vigorous exercise should be avoided for 10 days after treatment. You should drink plenty of water to help optimise the effects of the treatment.

Note that with all hyaluronic acid fillers, there may be some swelling, bruising, localised redness at the injection site, itching and tenderness immediately after treatment. These reactions are normal and temporary. They are a result of the injection itself and generally resolve by themselves. Any swelling that may occur can remain up to a few days but should resolve within a couple of weeks without any intervention.

Bruising may be reduced with the application of ice packs immediately following treatment. You will be advised by our doctor.

Dr Liakas is a GENIUS! I went in for Genefill on my upper thigh/lower glute area. I had liposuction of that area in my early 20s and now at 41 I had lost significant amount of weight, and unfortunately a ‘dent’ (depression) appeared in my right upper thigh/lower glute. Dr Liakas was cautious and recommended me to have two sittings such that he’d minimise the chance of overfilling. In my first sitting I had 50ml (35ml on the right, 15ml on left), and second sitting had another 20ml solely on the right.
