Our Medical Director and Lead Medical Practitioner, Dr Ioannis Liakas has decades of experience as an NHS Consultant of Internal Medicine and Gerontologist, and he has been an experienced practitioner in Aesthetic Medicine for over 14 years. Dr Liakas is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Honorary Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary Medical School, and a Member of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine.

An international speaker and celebrated expert in his field, our medical director is also a pioneer in the UK and in Germany the innovative fields of Soft Surgery and Hair Micrografting Therapy.

He is a KOL (key opinion leader) and trainer for a number of leading companies such as Relife for Refinesse & BOCA Threads and a centre of excellence for Sinclair’s Sillhouette Soft, MaiLi and Ellansé training other practitioners and contributing to their promotional material as a KOL.

Dr. Liakas once revealed, “My passion for aesthetic medicine came about when I was studying for my MSc in Gerontology, and it has continued to grow since. The part of my job that I love the most is the ability to educate people about new advances in aesthetics that they may have never heard of. I enjoy being able to contribute towards the medical aesthetics industry and debunk myths or stereotypes that might be traditionally attached to cosmetic surgeries. I enjoy my vast experience as a doctor to not only help people with their medical concerns but to help in changing a small part of their life. Everybody is their own worst critic, so to be able to advise somebody on how to celebrate their natural beauty and enhance the features that are naturally beautiful is one of the best parts of my job. As Medical Director, I get to help other doctors grow through training sessions. As a KOL, I have led a number of training sessions for new and innovative treatments like new brands of filler for variations of treatment areas, thread lifting, and of course our ever-popular Regenera Activa for Hair. I love being able to share my knowledge and teach people the science behind the stories.”
