We were honoured to welcome the wonderful Grammy® Award Winner Darlene Koldenhoven from Los Angeles into our Harley Street clinic for a luxury Vie Signature AquaFacial back in April. Darlene’s music plays a huge part in our client journey. It conveys our core values at each of our establishments. It is the beautiful sound of Darlene’s albums The Grand Piano Spa and The Grand Piano Spa Legacy that we play throughout our clinics.
We received a preview to her upcoming instrumental album Traveling the Blissful Highway that we are excited to be adding to our musical library on October 14th. This exceptional music, made to enhance all of our clients’ and associates’ well-being, enriches the signature Vie Aesthetics multi-sensory approach to the client journey. Her music is the perfect fit for us. It marries the feel of spa-like environment with the medical standard of services that we are so proud to provide to our clients from the moment they step into our clinics.
I met Darlene in London, when we were both presenting at the KBA Forum in March. It was amazing to meet the incredible GRAMMY® AWARD-WINNING singer Darlene Koldenhoven in the flesh! You may remember her from her appearance alongside Whoopi Goldberg in both Sister Act feature films; or her performance of “Aria” with famous pianist & composer YANNI, Live at the Acropolis, among other things.
During the forum, Darlene spoke to us about her time as a singer, but also about her work as a teacher and about her programme which helps people heal through the power of sound by listening to, and singing specific frequencies. It was fascinating to hear about how she has helped people worldwide with her unique and impressive techniques. Darlene spoke to us about the power of sound and we discussed what the ideal sounds would be to surround our clients and staff in our clinics. It was magical and we are so happy to have her expertise and wisdom guide our choices of sound for our clinics.
And of course, Darlene visited our Harley Street clinic before she jetted off back to L.A. What more could you want before a long haul flight?… A Vie AquaFacial of course, and by her feedback it came in pretty handy! She sent us a quick message from LA: ” …by the way, your facial survived the long grueling flights home and lack of sleep and the drive to the Grammys®, because everybody at the Grammys® was talking about how great my skin looked!”
