Many of us have so-called “skin imperfections” in one place or another. These are the lumps and bumps that are usually harmless, but which can be cosmetically annoying, especially if they appear in a particularly visible place.
Common types of skin imperfections include lesions such as skin tags, warts, moles, milia, cherry angioma, as well as age spots and solar lentigo. Depending on the type, these nuisances can vary in size, shape and colour, and are often linked to our individual genetics. However, even when an imperfection is tiny, it can still have the power to make us self-conscious.
Sound like you? Fortunately, there are ways in which we can fight back and make them a thing of the past, even without surgery.
