Injections to treat Lines and Wrinkles

What is it?

Over time and as we age, overactive muscle movement gradually wears away collagen, causing the skin to crease and allowing wrinkles to appear. Wrinkle relaxing injections with Botulinum Toxin (known as Botox®) are a very popular and effective treatment for wrinkles and lines which appear as

botox

  • Frown lines (glabellar)
  • Forehead lines
  • Crows feet (side of the eyes)
  • Creases under the eyes (infra-orbital)
  • Bunny lines
  • Chin puckering
  • Lines in the corner of the mouth (downturned edges)
  • Smoker’s lines (peri-oral lines)

How does it work?
Botox® relaxes these muscles in the treated area, it smooths out the lines and prevents the formation of wrinkles. It works on the specific muscles injected and allows the surrounding muscles to maintain their usual function enabling normal facial expression, just with less wrinkles.

Radiesse 3Botox® has been used for Cosmetic Treatments since the late 1980’s and has revolutionised the cosmetic industry due to its remarkable results combined with very few risks and no recovery time. The results are noticeable from 2-14 days after the injection and last for up to 6 months. Botulinum Toxin injections are not permanent; we recommend repeat treatments every 3-6 months to maintain the effects.

Repeat Treatments
Over time, you may notice that the repeat treatments work more effectively, and tend to last longer with each subsequent treatment.

Injections to treat Migraines and Headaches

2_0_treatment_options_c1_new1Botulinum Toxin injections are a safe and effective treatment to reduce headaches and migraines with no side effects. The Botulinum toxin is injected by our specialist doctor in a number of specific areas in the head, neck and shoulders.

The small needle feels like a pin prick or bug bite and the treatment works by blocking the sensory nerves that relay pain messages to the brain and relaxing muscles, making them less sensitive to pain. In your initial consultation, your doctor will explain the procedure and assess your suitability for the treatment.

Injections to treat Bruxism (teeth grinding)

bruxism3It has been established that teeth-grinding under stress and during sleep (called in medical terms Bruxism) can trigger headaches, hearing loss, insomnia, social  and relationship difficulties. For people suffering from Bruxism, the treatment with Botox injections may be a very good option as it also helps  prevent the weakening, wearing down, and loosening of  teeth.

What our clients say

I had volume filler placed in my cheeks and lip filler in my lips. Best result for my cheeks and lips and excellent value for money. All the staff are so friendly, the doctor took his time explaining things to me so I understood as best as I can.
